After centuries alone, he enters my life and turns my world upside down. We have a shared mission and it’s our future at stake.

My life is predictable, steady, and simple. I spend my time recruiting and training the newly departed to the Soul Chasers Society, the group dedicated to ridding the Above of the reckless spirits haunting it, and I love it. It’s satisfying and safe. A life behind the scenes suits me just fine.

Until the day that my name is on the rotation and I have to tackle the most unruly Horror yet. Its escape should be impossible, and yet, here we are. I’m even more surprised when I’m assigned to partner with the newest Soul Chaser, a handsome, unbound soul who embraces all of life’s twists and turns with open arms. We couldn’t be more different, yet there’s something about this man with kind eyes and boundless enthusiasm that draws me into his ways.

We have our hands full, and if this budding attraction has any chance of blooming, we’ll have to work together to banish the Horror and somehow figure out how our worlds continue to intertwine when it’s all over.
