Overview

Carter regrets the way he treated Evan before he realised androids were people. Before they were given rights and protections and were paid for their work. When Evan returns to the police force as a Special Android Consultant he does his best to keep out of Evan's hair.

But now the weird, sex-fetish, android murders Evan's been working on have connected to Carter's ordinary-seeming robbery-gone-wrong, and they can't avoid each other anymore. Trapped in a snowstorm, Evan is infected with a virus that will kill him if they can't find a cure... Unless Carter helps him to satisfy the virus's demands...
