Overview

Every morning, at dawn, the woman appears. Being unable to sleep, with constant insomnia darkening her days, Detective Darby Patience watches as the mystery women walks along the beach, sits on the sand and stares out to sea. Intrigued by the beautiful enigma, after several weeks of noticing her from her beach hut home, Darby finally decides to approach her.

When Tig Marsters meets Darby, there is an immediate attraction between the two women. There is also a commonality between them, which bonds them when they talk. Both women are struggling with the ability to sleep; and both frequent the sand and the sea in a bid to find some peace.

Darby and Tig discover a fast and instant chemistry which manifests itself in a night of connection between them. Captivated by Tig, Darby finds herself wanting more, yet Tig is holding back. Unwilling to get involved, Darby is baffled, until she discovers the dark secrets which Tig has been keeping hidden. Now the secret is out, can Darby and Tig find a way to make it work?
