Overview

This series combines a few different elements: an academic mystery, amateur sleuths, age-gap romance, and Shakespeare. Auggie is a freshman at Wroxall College (located in Wahredua, the same town where Hazard and Somerset live). Theo is one of his instructors (at least, during his first semester). The two men get dragged into investigating the disappearance of a student--who turns out not to be a student at all!

This prequel short story is actually set years before Theo and Auggie meet--in fact, Theo is going by a different name (Daniel). I hope it gives you a taste of what the series is like!
