While our heroes have returned from the Under Dark and their trials arranged by the Night King, the Under Dark has not left them!

King Xelroth Vex is now seemingly vacationing in the Aravae Empire, hiding who he is under the glamour of a human. Haera Vex–Rhalyf’s sister–has tracked her brother down and also is undercover as an Aravae. There are now more Vexes in Tyrael than in Nhamashel.
