Overview

Jack Slater is not happy. He’s just been right-sized out of his job as a forensic accountant and has learned that an unsolved murder was committed in his flat. Keen to demonstrate to the world, or indeed anyone who’ll notice, that he’s still too young to have been thrown on the corporate scrapheap, and unnerved by the fact that someone was strangled in his bathroom, Jack shelves his plan to write the definitive guide to Cubism in order to crack the case himself. Aided by his smooth-talking younger partner, Jamie Mahoney, the pair are determined to succeed where the Metropolitan Police have failed.
