Overview

With an ailing father and rent due, Dinah takes a job as a servant for the Jones manor. Rumor has it Lord Jones married one of those American girls. There’s also rumors that she’s a shut in. When the elusive Mrs. Jones has one of her fits and the staff in an uproar, it’s Dinah who’s sent to calm her.

Dinah didn’t know what to expect, but a gorgeous, tall woman. Falling in love with the boss’s wife is always a terrible idea, but with Penelope’s Hysteria, it makes everything all the more complicated. Even when Penelope’s condition improves, her doctor and husband are more determined than ever to have her committed.

To save the woman she loves, Dinah must break from class convention, a few laws, natural and otherwise, to save a brilliant woman from a terrible fate.
