Overview

Dorian Tullus should lead a life of glory and pleasure in the Roman empire. His beauty is the stuff of legends, and his family is influential and wealthy. But Dorian's desire to submit to another's will puts him at odds with the decorum expected of a Roman citizen. He knows he's an embarrassment and needs to change. But how? Lord Aksel, The Beast of Silberturm, plots vengeance against Dorian's father. His plan to abduct Tullus goes awry, and The Beast unwittingly captures Dorian. Wounded and afraid, Dorian is dragged north. He becomes “Six," a thrall in The Beast's castle. Dorian feigns obedience while plotting escape, but he can't stop fantasizing about the sad-eyed barbarian who captured him. And Lord Aksel can't stop thinking about the beautiful Roman thrall, either. Surely The Fates sent the man only to torment him! Or was Dorian sent north by The Fates to make things right? As The Beast and Six slowly learn to trust each other, their attraction burns out of control. But can they find love before it's too late? Because the Tullus family won't let their son go without a fight.
