Overview

The assassin Klaus has fallen hopelessly in love with his captive. 1737, the American colony of Connecticut. Klaus has fallen head over heels in love with the handsome socialite he’s been paid to kidnap. They’re stuck in Klaus’ mansion until the ransomers arrive, which means he’s got to look at Magnus’ perfect face and strong body every day for the next month. Doesn’t sound so bad, right? Wrong. Most of Klaus and Magnus’ conversations at dinner end with broken dishes. At first glance, captor and captive have no common ground: Klaus is a hardened war veteran and Magnus has never worked a day in his life. Unless pounding claret counts as work, in which case Magnus might be considered a veteran, too. When Klaus invites Magnus to try BDSM, he doesn’t expect him to say yes. What starts out as exploration becomes something much more intense. Klaus refuses to feel his emotions and Magnus can’t control his. Can they learn from each other, or will they return to their lives like the kidnapping never happened? This is a male/male enemies to lovers historical romance/comedy. It contains explicit BDSM themes and has explicit consent.
