Overview

Almost three years ago now, the world as we all knew it ended. But my life didn’t. When news came about of the contagion that would eventually take out billions, I hopped on my bike and headed into the mountains of Montana to hide. That’s where I’ve been ever since, alone in this abandoned town. Until one day, from seemingly out of nowhere, a beautiful man literally stumbled outside my doorstep. He was weak, vulnerable, and needed protection. Needed shelter. He was a victim of horrible experiments, imprisoned by the same “people” that caused the contagion to begin with, and forced to endure agony I could never fathom. Until now. He needed me to keep him safe. I needed him to remember that life was still worth living. In the end, he and I will prove that love is the only thing left that matters.
Sheltered is a post-apocalyptic MM romance with a "happy for now"/mild cliffhanger ending about two men who fall in love against all odds and find themselves at the beginning of a brand new society (aka 'omegaverse'). It contains themes and situations appropriate for adult readers only. Please note: This book was written in October 2019, long before the current pandemic; any similarities to real-life events are purely coincidental. It was published originally in its somewhat-shorter form in the Apocalypse anthology which ran from November 2019-February 2020. It is a 74,000 word, full-length story
