Overview

In the wake of the cataclysmic battle that left the divine ceremony in disarray, Mackenzie and Kaida found themselves bound together as the Twin Deities of the realm. Though both marked by the Gods, their new shared destiny was one wrought with unresolved tensions and distrust after Mackenzie's anger at the Joining Ceremony. Their complex feelings for each other simmer beneath the surface, igniting romantic tension that neither can ignore.

As they grapple with their intertwined lifelines, the hunt began for the nefarious Thaddeus Vale. The Shadow Warlord seeks to disrupt the prophecy further, positioning himself as the kingdom's protector through dark means. Mackenzie and Kaida discover Vale is working alongside the enigmatic mage Lysandra Nightweave, harvesting the essences of murdered monsters to harness forbidden shadow magic.

Through Lysandra's meddling, they uncover Vale's true objective - to perform the Dark Joining ritual and inherit the corrupted powers of Hades himself by slaying mythical beings and stealing their divine essences.
