Overview

After ex-cop Stevie O’Neil becomes the prime suspect in a murder investigation, Midnight is forced to deal with what she considers her greatest failing: the death of Jason Templeton when she first became chief. Having never been able to catch the person responsible, it’s a guilt Midnight has carried ever since. Dibbins is assigned to the case and infiltrates the suspect gang, becoming ever closer to Stevie in the process. But it isn’t long until suspicions surface and they must move quickly before the whole thing falls apart. With the Past coming out in the Present, can they pull it off to bring an old friend back into the fold before she’s lost for good?
