Author’s Note: Look, I tried to be reasonable.

But there was no way I could write a book where Reyn and Solriel get roped into a paint party and not let things spiral into chaos, competitiveness, and eventually—of course—a steamy bath that neither of them is ready to admit meant something.

This scene didn’t quite fit the final version of Bind the Alpha, but it lives rent-free in my brain and now, thankfully, in yours.

So here it is: a little extra heat, a lot of unspoken tension, and one bath that gets way too intimate, way too fast.
