Turning to look back at the bar, Jackson could still hear the band playing and a part of him yearned to go inside and find the attractive young man again. Jackson could apologize for stepping away and then the two could dance all night and maybe tomorrow and then for more nights in the future. As crazy as that sounded after just meeting him, Jackson could not shake the strong feeling of connectivity he felt. Just go back inside, he thought, but the idea was fleeting. He knew he could not.
