This wasn't a child. Not in the slightest. Not for a long time, at least. The last time he looked upon this folder, the boy had been turning twenty-six. He'd been both scarred and intrigued about what he saw and vowed to not sneak another peek. Dean Reynolds is faced with an afterlife he never could have dreamed of. Gardens with flowers of every possible kind, rainbow bars, and riding clouds? And that was just one realm of his new reality. His first few minutes in this new afterlife are pure chaos, but the moment Dean meets Milton, he feels a sense of calm. As Milton gives him the Welcoming Tour around his new reality, Dean learns that he's going to be trained to be a Guardian for souls living on Earth. He has a lot of questions along the way about his own death and what happens next, but there seems to be one in particular that Milton shies away from.
