Ten years ago, Luke broke up with his boyfriend Joey, nicknamed Ru, without giving a reason. Now, he needs his help to restore the name of the cinema chain he manages in Cardiff, after his father made some LGBTQIA+ discriminatory remarks. Can he convince Ru to give him another chance? And why did he broke up with him in the first place?

While Luke has settled in Wales, Joey manages the Hold Your Head High film festival in London, which has just lost the exhibiting cinema chain. Moving the festival to Wales seems likle an absurd leap of faith, especially not to the cinema chain that once cost him everything. That must be the reason why, right? Why else would he leave?

The novel follows the story of how they fell in love ten years ago and their reunion today.
