Jennifer Ford has a history of falling for the wrong people. She knew the rules in dating women: let them come to you, signals are not always signals, and above all else never fall for a straight girl. And yet, Jenny couldn't help but find herself burdened with the depression and longing for someone she could never have time after time. Currently, Jenny is hopelessly in love with her awkward and unavailable boss, Kate. When Kate hires the beautiful and charming Brooke Hensen, the new girl strives to win over Jenny, who thought she had already given her heart away. Jenny will have to decide whether a real attainable relationship can ever beat fantasy.
