In the Garden of Eden, Lilith happens upon a secret too delicious to ignore.

After being banished and outlawed as a daemon for eating forbidden fruit and learning the knowledge of Good and Evil, she spends a hundred years in the mortal realm learning of other gods, goddesses, and sacred deities, finding them far more worthy of devotion. When the time comes to return to Eden and beg God’s forgiveness for her sins, Lilith has strayed too far from a righteous path; she refuses to go back.

When the archangels finally break Lilith, Death offers her a dice game and a deal. Persephone will return Lilith’s soul to her body, tell her the truth about a knot in the thread of Fate, and warn her of a choice she’ll be forced to make—a decision that could secure her true freedom. Lilith would no longer be hunted and forced to endure God’s punishment, allowing her to live out eternity in peace. Being left alone is all she’s ever wanted.

But is she willing to pay the ultimate price for redemption?
