Overview

Jacob Ellis is a private investigator in New York City posing as a criminal in order to gather intel on a drug trafficking organization. The suspected ringleader, Aleksandr Volkov, is not at all as Ellis imagined him to be. From the moment Ellis first walks into the Volkov family’s club, The Wolf’s Den, he is drawn to him.

Alek has a talent for knowing what Ellis needs with few words and it’s as if he can see right into his soul. This is unnerving yet exhilarating to the private investigator. He falls deeper down a rabbit hole that solidifies his bond with the potential criminal mastermind. Ellis thinks he knows who he is and what he wants out of life until he crosses paths with Alek. He soon discovers that everything is not as it seems and members of the organization begin to disappear under mysterious circumstances. Ellis finds himself developing an attachment to the leader of the organization and questioning whether to turn him in for the FBI reward.

Now he finds himself questioning his own morals and whether good and evil are truly as black and white as he once thought. Can he and Alek help each other heal from their troubled pasts and build a future together worth fighting for?
