Overview

The story: focuses on two characters, Christine and Kara. Christine, a lesbian, meets Kara, another mother, at a Parent-Teacher Association (PTA) meeting. The two women quickly become friends and start spending more time together.
As their relationship progresses, Christine realizes that she wants more than just friendship with Kara. She wants to take the relationship to the next level and start a romantic relationship with her. However, Christine is unsure if Kara feels the same way.
The resolution to Christine and Kara's dilemma comes when they have a heart-to-heart conversation and clear up any misunderstandings. They both express their feelings and come to an understanding about what they want from the relationship. By the end of the story, Christine and Kara are in a happy, committed relationship.
