When Khy runs from the master who has enslaved him for most of his life, he runs straight into trouble. Help comes in the form of Jaedin, an ex-mercenary who wants only to grieve his lost lover in peace. Bound together by a misfired spell, these two broken men set off on a journey to free themselves.
