Jane Woods lives in one of Sydney’s oldest suburbs, overlooking the beautiful and bustling Sydney Harbour. Jane is seeking change in her life - taking a new direction in her career and returning to Sydney’s lesbian scene as a single woman.

Her decision to investigate strange noises coming from the nearby wharf, brings far more change than she could anticipate or want. Jane is swept along on a perilous adventure with murder, corruption, family secrets and the supernatural. Accompanying Jane on her journey is Bette Logan, a policewoman with problems of her own, and Marjorie – a local woman who was murdered many years before… As the mystery deepens, Jane has a choice – retreat back into her safe, familiar world, or risk it all and take the plunge.
