Overview

Private Detective, Howard Ellis Millstone, an intelligent, good man, and all around rare bird, goes into witness protection where he gets a new face, new identity, and a new home in Franklin. It’s a city known as Freaky Franklin to the outside world, a city like no other, where the LGBTQ community and an array of subcultures, typically maligned by conservatives and the religious community, live in peace. He invites Max Roche, a hunky blonde muscle bear with a penchant for adventure and hot sex, to join him in Franklin, where their relationship deepens and so does the mystery in the death of Tommy Two-Weeks.
