Overview

Painfully shy and cautious, Jory met the warm and outgoing Charlotte (Charlie) on the first day of 2nd grade. The girls quickly became inseparable best friends. As the girls matured, their feelings for one another deepened, if not fully understood. They knew they wanted to be together always. They planned everything out: graduating from high school, going to Washington State University and taking their next steps together. They vowed they would never let anything come between them. But something and someone did come between them and it led to unimaginable loss for both girls. But not all losses are irreversible. Perhaps, now as adults, Jory and Charlie would have a chance to put things right.
