Nichole is a perfectionist, the kind of girl who folds her socks and organizes her fridge by expiration dates. As a Jehovah's Witness, she is loyal, faithful, and unquestionably Christian. Amber is a headstrong creative spirit who refuses to be held in a box or defined by any standards. She goes against the grain in everything, and refuses to allow others to place expectations on her. When these two worlds collide, Nichole believes she is the one who has brought Amber from the darkness into the light, but as rumors begin to spread and faith begins to die, it just might end up being the other way around.
