Overview

Aeron, an angel cast from heaven, is saved by the demon Belial in this sweeping fantasy romance. Though wary, Aeron shelters in Belial's lavish home as he keeps his identity secret. An outing turns dangerous when demon slayers attack, exposing Aeron's celestial powers. Impressed Belial asks why Aeron protects him. The angel admits he feels a growing bond. Sheltering from a storm in an abandoned castle, they give in to pent-up desire. But after, conflicted Belial reveals he is Lord of the Seventh Circle of Hell. Stunned, Aeron struggles with this revelation. Yet he saw the good in Belial's heart first. An ancient prophecy speaks of their union mending the realms. They embrace this fate, knowing it will mean overcoming forces bent on destroying their forbidden bond. Attacked by assassins, they disguise themselves but can’t evade Michael’s wrath. Belial nearly falls protecting Aeron. Captured, tortured, Aeron launches an assault on Hell to rescue Belial.
