"The Wolf Chronicles" it is not a "novice SM novel" at all. It is constantly presenting vivid and rather graphic images. The author uses the first person to his advantage as you see the love the SIR has for the slave from the beginning. He also uses his writing skills to present torture scenes that make you aroused and make you flinch inside all at the same time. Be Warned. It is a presentation of SM in its harshest most sadistic of terms. There are really few people I would imagine who are capable of writing "torture" scenes and the reader coming away with the emotion of "wow that was intense, I could never do that." but at the same time make you want to keep reading. This is a look into a world that some of us might fantasize about but a very few would be capable of sustaining. It is the true essence of Sadist and Masochist. I have rarely encountered anything like it.
