Inventor Kendal Shepherd has more money than God, but it’s not enough to protect her from those with nefarious intent. When she wakes up in a castle in the woods, immobile from the waist down, with no memory of what happened, she knows something weird is going on. When the care nurse won’t answer her questions, her only hope is to seek help from the delicious woman she sees out the window—the one she’s dubbed Landscaper Chick.

Leena Hogan loves her work as the groundskeeper at the Parker estate in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. She has recently done something that she can never erase from her psyche, for good or bad. Her only solace is to lose herself in mowing, planting flowers, and the library of books at her remote cabin in the woods of the estate.

As a blizzard bears down on the region, Leena crosses paths with a strange woman who tells an even stranger story. She must decide whether or not to get involved, because the last thing she needs is the cops sniffing around. But damn, Kendal Shepherd is sexy. Will her libido override her common sense?

Leena and Kendal must join forces to solve the mystery, before the high stakes bring everything crashing down.
