Finally being free was supposed to make my life better. I no longer have an insane vampire controlling my every move, so why do I feel so lost? The only thing I can do is help the poor souls I’ve destroyed over the years, continue my research, and just hope I can eventually earn the mate I thought I’d lost my chance at having.
