Downloading Glitter Phase

Rose Meechum is a 30-something bisexual with ADHD and tummy issues who hasn't exactly handled her divorce well. She moved into her best friend's house for what was supposed to be a "stay till you get your feet back under you" situation. That was a year ago. Kendra, Rose's friend, isn't saying Rose needs to move out. She does gently suggest therapy. Well, "gently." She signed her up and drove her to the intake appointment.
Rose begins telling her new therapist, Dr. Emma, the story of the past twelve months. It's a tale of transition, heartbreak, incredibly stubborn friends, and a needlessly attractive lawyer who just happens to be free every time Rose needs somebody to watch a movie with. Rose is a little slow on the uptake, of course. The whole "recently divorced, traumatized by men, never once changed out of my elastic pants how could you possibly be into this" thing.
Glitter Phase is a coming-of-second-age novel about a woman who is so wrapped up in surviving the split that she forgets about the whole "moving on" bit. Fans of Charm Offensive and Sorrow and Bliss will enjoy this read.
