It's quite a shock when Theo inherits his weird uncle's mansion after the man dies unexpectedly. Sure, Uncle Harold cared for Theo, babysitting him when his parents couldn’t find anyone else to do it, but Theo doesn’t have many clear memories of that part of his childhood.
