I'm Luke Caldwell, and I'm a interstellar mercenary. When I was shot down over Amartius Prime, I knew I would die. Not from my wounds, but I could never escape the clutches of a world known throughout the universe for the plague that had killed hundreds of a species that had eliminated all disease. I never expected to wake up changed in a new world. As I adjust to this disease stricken world, my only hope is to survive.
