I had this book series saved on my future reading list for several months, and a few weeks ago I wanted to read some crime and mystery books. And OMG, I couldn't tear myself away from reading it. Each book in the first season tells about a particular crime, and is solved in that same book. What drives each season is the story of the two main characters, which is chef's kiss. Warning, it has somewhat graphic descriptions, if you are a little sensitive I recommend first reading the content warnings that the writer gives at the beginning of each book. Truly a highly recommended series of books.
