I’m straight. Always have been. Then I saw him.
Glowing skin. Carved shoulders. Eyes like he’d been waiting for me.

I told myself it was just a costume. Just some guy.
But when he followed me outside, he didn’t hesitate.
He stood too close, his arm brushing mine like it was on purpose.
His eyes didn’t let go, holding me there until I forgot how to breathe. And when his hand closed on my arm, the heat was instant, like I’d already been claimed.

Now my head says this is wrong.
My body says give in.
And I don’t know how much longer I can keep pretending.
