Pine Valley is a school that’s both rich in history and legacy, and it’s once more opening its doors to another year of students.

Laila “Lally” Stewart is drowning her grief for her deceased best friend the only way she knows how—by partying, isolating herself, and leaving her friends behind—until her school notices her debauchery and gives her one last chance to prove she is worthy of its hallowed halls.

Only, it comes with a price tag she can’t pay, at least not until she finds herself involved in a game called Risk, where the stakes are high, but the payout is higher.

Alice Anders has been in love with Lally since they first met. Despite Lally’s cold attitude and desire to self-destruct, Alice is determined to save her no matter the cost, even if it means partaking in a game meant to break her.

When the danger becomes very real, however, will Lally and Alice be able to survive this deadly game?
