Overview

At long last, Carter Miller-Cooper and Jax Michaels are finally a couple. After three years together, things have gotten pretty serious, but Jax still hasn’t popped the question. Carter has no idea why it hasn’t happened when they are committed and established. They have a plan. At least, that’s what she thinks, but even the best laid plans can go up in smoke. A surprise cafe sale and a death in the family throw their perfectly planned life into a whirlwind. Now, they have to decide whether or not to move to an area where the minds are as small as the towns. They swore they’d follow each other anywhere, but is there a limit to that?
