Overview

Whisper is head librarian of the aging Great Spinel Library. He struggles daily with fibromyalgia and anxiety, believing himself cursed. Yet he is not the only one suffering: after the eruption of the White Mountain 20 years ago, the world of Small Wonder has been plagued by daily ash fall. Now, tremors suggest the mountain underneath the library might be set to erupt as well. Can the next eruption be stopped? As the last Spinel librarian, Whisper must confront his fears and make a world-shattering choice. An End to Flowers features a queernormative, PoC cast with inspiration taken from early Greece. It is "soft apocalypse," with a focus on the deep relationships between communities in times of turmoil.
