Overview

September thought the small college in New Mexico was the perfect place to escape the tragedy at home. At first, it is. Then, an attraction to her new roommate, Mattie, causes her to start questioning everything she thought she knew about herself. When Mattie's new girlfriend leads her into a downward spiral of drugs and violent behavior, September seeks help from Mattie's ex, Kate, who happens to blame September for their breakup. As September and Kate work together to help Mattie, friendship blossoms and her confusion over her new feelings grows.
