Overview

Jake Morrison's Tuesday night was supposed to be boring. Pizza, Netflix, and maybe texting his fitness influencer ex-boyfriend to turn down the volume on his upstairs workout routine.

What he didn't expect was to be yanked off his couch by a blue light and deposited in front of a very naked, very confused alien who was definitely expecting someone else.

Meet Zeph'hai, Nereidan researcher and owner of the galaxy's worst pickup technique. His people need compatible partners to survive, and their extensive research indicated that Derek Cross (Jake's Instagram-famous ex) was the perfect candidate. Unfortunately, alien intel gathered from Instagram and "educational videos" isn't exactly reliable.

Now Jake's stuck on an alien ship for 72 hours with a gorgeous blue alien who glows when he's turned on, thinks pancakes are construction material, and has clearly never heard of personal boundaries. The empathic connection forming between them is just a bonus side effect. Right?

But when Jake discovers this isn't just alien speed dating but a one-shot chance at permanent interspecies partnership, everything changes. Because falling for your accidental abductor is complicated enough without adding species survival, cultural exchange, and the fact that Derek's still getting his own alien assessment.

Some mistakes are worth making. Some accidents change everything. And some connections are worth risking everything for.

A steamy sci-fi romance featuring mistaken identity, bioluminescent aliens, size differences, empathic bonding, and the revolutionary concept that food should taste good. Low angst, high heat, with a guaranteed HEA and series setup.
