Overview

When twenty year old Will Porter lands a job as a Dorm Master at a snooty British boys boarding school, he can hardly believe his luck. He has visions of himself coaching a little sport, overseeing students here and there, and spending the rest of the time kicking back and relaxing.

I mean, how hard can a job like this possibly be?

Will is charming and deeply laid back. He's well liked by his peers and he has it on good authority that he's very good-looking. For all his positive attributes, young Will possesses one serious flaw - he doesn't adult well. He never has. He simply hasn't developed a knack for it.

Still, the last thing on Earth he expects from his stay at Regis House, is to find himself bent over the Deputy Headmasters desk, elbows and palms down flat, bracing himself as he hears the soft song of the cane whistling behind him.



A Teaching Moment is a story about a wayward young man and an exceedingly stern Deputy Headmaster. It contains plenty of old school discipline, a drizzle of self-deprecating wit, and a healthy side-serving of steam.
