Overview

An unexpected message throws Poppy Underwood's life into chaos. Her uncle Martin Underwood, the CEO of the billion-dollar company Underwood Industries, has died and she is being summoned back to fulfill her familial obligations. There's only one big problem — nobody in her family knows that Poppy exists. They only know Logan, Poppy's former self, who ran away and cut all ties to the Underwoods at eighteen.
The potential consequences of ignoring the summons are too dire, so Poppy decides to change back into Logan temporarily and return to Westfield. As soon as she arrives at her childhood home, she finds herself entangled in a web of lies and deceit. Realizing that she is in over her head, Poppy calls in support and backup in the form of her long-term girlfriend Valerie, a proud vegan, lesbian, and massive Sherlock Holmes fan.
Together, they navigate the labyrinth of Underwood secrets with only one goal in mind — to return home to the wonderful life they built for themselves unscathed.
