Overview

Macen Alexander is thirty years old and has never had a sexual experience with another man that didn't leave him feeling inadequate. So inadequate that he keeps a list of all the things he needs experience with. Things that should bring pleasure with another man, but have only made him feel insecure.

Taggert Harris has his life completely mapped out. His friends-with-benefits arrangement more than meets his needs. The last thing he needs is the weird feeling in his chest every time he looks at the man across the bar, and he'll shut that shit down before the sun comes up.

Macen is looking for confidence with his...list of needs. Taggert isn't looking for anything. But he gives in to the protective feeling burning in his gut, though he senses it's a dangerous impulse. He'll give Macen what he's asking for because the alternative for him could be more dangerous. Their agreement has an end to it, and Taggert is a lawyer; he never breaks an agreement.
