A short story set after Prince and Assassin.

“Wait,” Nadine says, staring at Julien. “Are you giving him a gift for your birthday?” “Is that weird?” Julien asks.
“A little, Your Highness.” Nadine frowns. “Did you give him anything for his own birthday?”
Julien exhales, feeling like the worst lover ever. He hasn’t done anything for Whisper’s birthday because neither of them know when that is.
